What to do after an auto accident

We understand being in an accident can be very stressful/overwhelming.

Most importantly we want to know; Is everyone okay?

After being in an auto accident:

1. Call the police and/or an ambulance if necessary
2. Call your agent with the following information:
3. who was in the vehicle with you and is anyone hurt or needing medical attention?
4. what vehicle you were driving?
5. where did the accident happen?
6. approximately what time was it?
7. what were the circumstances that caused the accident
8. does your vehicle need towed/ is it drivable
9. do you need a rental car
10. were the police called? if yes:
    1. did you receive a police report?
    2. what county?
    3. what was the officer’s name?
